Nathell Gunn Hoffman, died on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born October 12, 1932 in Evanston, Wyoming to Carl and Ezma Barker Gunn. She married Floyd LaVar Hoffman in 1949.
Nathell spent most of her life in Randolph, Utah and loved to serve the people in her community. She was a member of the 4-H club and High School rodeo. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and held many positions in her ward and loved to do genealogy work. She also enjoyed crocheting and made many beautiful quilts. She also had a great love for gardening. She was known for her great cooking and canning skills. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family.
Nathell is survived by son Sandy (Teresa) Hoffman of Evanston, Wyoming; her daughter-in-law Candy Hoffman of Clinton, Tennessee, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Lynn Gunn, and sister LaRae Mulligan.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, her son Mack, brothers Hugh Gunn and Barry Gunn, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28, at 11 am at the Randolph LDS ward chapel in Randolph, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 6-8 pm at the church, as well as one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will follow at the Randolph cemetery.
