Nancy Cheryl Albrecht, 78 passed away at her home in Wild River Ranches on January 1, 2019.
She was born in Ogden, Utah on October 17, 1940 to Audrey and Bruce Parry.
She attended Utah State University where she graduated with a teaching degree. She later became acquainted with Charles W. Albrecht and they were married in Ogden on June 11, 1965. Later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She worked at the Wyoming State Hospital as a social worker for a short period before starting and running a successful surveying business with her husband.
Cheryl and Charles were very adventurous and traveled all around the western US looking for gold and other minerals. She loved meeting new people and getting to know them. She made many friends along the way.
She attended many dog shows and even entered some agility contests with her dog and won some awards.
Cheryl was a very talented artist and has many paintings and drawings that are just amazing to see.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles W. Albrecht, her dog Bobby and a brother, Doug (Janie) Parry of Yuma, AZ along with many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father Bruce and her mother Audrey.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer up at her home.
