Monica Lynn Anson Streeter 52, of Lyman Wyoming passed away on Friday February, 22 surrounded by her family.

Monica was born July 24, 1966 to Richard Curtis Anson and Betty Lou Powers. She attended Lyman High School and graduated in 1984. She then attended Laramie Count Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she received her registered nurse’s license. Monica began work for the American Red Cross in the early 1990’s where she worked in disaster relief management. In the career she became an ombudsman for the United Stated Navy and then the Utah National Guard. She helped many military families in their times of greatest need. She then worked as a child and youth services coordinator and eventually became an intricate member in creating the National Guard Child and Youth Services Program as it exists today. In 2011 she purchased John’s Diamond Club in Lyman, Wyoming where her passion for creating warm spaces and helping others continued. She worked with her local Chamber of Commerce and tried to never miss a Town Council meeting. Of all her amazing accomplishments, the one she was most proud of was raising her two daughters.

Monica is survived by her daughters, Hannah and Sarah Streeter; her significant other, Randy Lambo; her mother, Betty Lou Powers Bronson; her stepmother, Debby Anson (Howe); her brothers, Tony, Matt, Adam, and Josh; her sister, Vicki; and many nieces and nephews.

Monica is preceded in death by her father, Richard Curtis Anson; her grandparents, Burt and Betty Powers, and John (Art) and Blanche Anson.

A viewing will take place March, 1st, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Ft. Bridger, Wyoming. Services will follow directly. A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 p.m. at John’s Diamond Club in Lyman, Wyoming.
