Our Baby Girl Misty May Mondragon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21st at Primary Children’s Hospital. Our Precious Angel touched many lives in her 26 years of life. She was born on a beautiful sunny day September 18th 1986 to Gordon and Ronda Mondragon, Sister to Brody and Charlee.
One of Misty’s greatest joys was attending school at South Summit. Her smile will forever be remembered by so many as any who saw it was forever touched. She loved all of her aids, teachers and bus drivers and enjoyed flirting with the boys. Misty was sent here to bless many lives which she accomplished and went above and beyond. Misty had such a special way of communicating with everyone who knew her special spirit.
Misty had many favorite things, her favorite color purple, to TV shows. She loved her dogs Tink, Moe, Mia and cat Boo and recently took care of Tucker and Howard. Aunt ZoeAnn’s crazy antics always made her smile. Misty’s strength came from the support of her wonderful parents Gordon and Ronda and brother and sister Brody and Charlee. There lives lovingly devoted to her care and making her happy.
Misty will forever be a special sprit that touched so many lives. She is preceded in death by just a few short weeks by her Grammy Nada VanTassell Brydson, her Uncle Clay Holton, Great Grandparents Clayne and Juanita VanTassell, Carolyn Robertson, cousin Seth Mondragon and great aunt Judy Rhinehart.
Misty is now dancing and singing with angels. We love you and will miss you.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those who helped care for Misty and made her life better. Dr. Jackson, Dr. Dave, Audry Stembridge, Brittany Atkinson, her many doctors, nurses and surgeons and the staff at Primary Children’s Medical Center and IHC.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Primary Children’s Hospital in Misty’s name.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
