Michael Dee Clark, 68, passed away on March 22, 2025, in Evanston, Wyoming.
Born on February 26, 1957, in Goshen, Indiana, Mike lived a life marked by deep love for his family and a passion for the things that brought him joy. Mike is preceded in death by his father and stepmother Jack and Mary Clark, mother Shirley Yoder-Stetzel, and little brother Jeffrey Clark.
Mike is survived by his sister Cindy (Todd) Johnson of Huntington, Indiana, brothers Gregory Clark of Idaho and Allen Clark of Huntington, Indiana.
Mike's legacy lives on through his children: Ryan (Patty) Clark, Justin (Jessica) Clark, Nicholas (Dakota) Clark, and Casey Clark. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Chase (Josie) Clark of Rice, Washington, Bailey (Robert) Miller of Colville, Washington, Kaytlyn Clark of Rice, Washington, Madison, Jayson, Nicholas, and Chaisley Clark of Evanston, Wyoming.
His great-grandchildren Logan and Rylee Miller were among the youngest recipients of his boundless affection.
Michael grew up in Huntington, Indiana, and later lived in Woodland, California in 1980. In 1974, he joined the U.S. Army and spent 6 years making the rank of Sargent, working in "commo".
Mike traveled to many places during his service. His favorite place to serve was undoubtedly Korea, where he forced an officer to climb a telephone pole to swear him in during re-enlistment.
After his time in the military, he welcomed his first son with Dianne in 1982. Later, he met his wife Tammy Clark, with whom he had three more sons in 1986, 1990, and 1991.
In 1995, Michael moved to Evanston, Wyoming, where he began working for Wyoming Fabrication and Machine. He remained with the company until his retirement in 2015.
Though known to be a little rough around the edges, Mike had a heart that ran deep with love and loyalty.
His presence was a constant source of strength and warmth to those who knew him best. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Whether it was sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply being there with his signature grin, Mike made every moment count.
A devoted fan of NASCAR -unless it involved Joey-and enjoyed watching football. He cherished comparing stories and sports knowledge with his sons and grandchildren, often sharing more than they expected but always with enthusiasm.
May Michael Dee "Mike" Clark's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire love as deeply felt as the one he gave so freely.
