Michael Erwin Bink, 73, passed away at Evanston Regional Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2017, with his daughter Susanna by his side. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon on February 12, 1944 to Jack and Mary Patton Bink.
Michael joined the Navy as a young man and honorably served his country during the Viet Nam war. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7798. While in the military, he served as a Communications System Technician Operator which led to his civilian career working for Union Telephone as a Telecommunication Technician.
Michael is survived by his wife of 13 years, Linda Henderson Bink of Lyman, WY; his daughters Jennifer Bink of Summerdale, AL, Elizabeth Bink McCray of Robertsdale, AL, Susanna Bink of Summerdale, AL; step daughter Christina (Patric) Peduzzi of Aurora, CO; grandchildren Shannon McCray and Matthew McCray of Robertsdale, AL; step grandchildren Helena Gonzales of Aurora, CO, Ramzee Howard of Aurora, CO, Anthony Peduzzi of Aurora, CO; step great grandchild Jocelyn Gonzales of Aurora, CO; He is also survived by a sister Rebecca (Clarke) McGaugh of Vernonia, OR and a brother-in-law Wayne (Margie) Cashwell of Los Vegas, NV.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lynn Bink, and his father and mother, Jack and Mary.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, WY, and no services are planned at this time.
