Matthew Timothy Meyer passed away at his home in Evanston, WY on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
He was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 17, 1969 to Richard and Saundra (Larsen) Meyer.
Matthew was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and had the dream of his lifetime come true when he was able to attend a game at Lambeau Field last October. He enjoyed playing fantasy football and won a signed jersey last season. He enjoyed playing pool, spending time with his family, going to the Salt Lake City Bee’s games, and going to Disneyland. Matthew worked as a substitute teacher in the Evanston school district for a number of years. He loved the teaching process and getting children excited about learning.
Matthew is survived by his daughter Angelica Meyer; mother Saundra Meyer; brother Mike Meyer; niece Faith Meyer; uncles Larry Meyer, Randy Meyer, Bill Meyer, and Tom Meyer.
Matthew is preceded in death by his father Richard Meyer; Grandparents Oscar and Hulda Meyer and Aksel and Irmgard Larsen; and aunt Karen Lindblad.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home and a family memorial service is planned at a later date.
