Martin Marshall

Martin Doyle Marshall passed away on July 31, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loved ones, as he wished.  He was a blessing when he was born February 4,1949 to parents James Doyle Marshall and Miriam Alma Marshall in Texas where he claimed the air smells the best. He was a devoted husband to his wife Christina Marshall. Extraordinary father to his children James Marshall, Jessica Uran, son-in-law Tyler Uran, granddaughter Ellie Uran. Big brother to Ralph Marshall, and sister-in-law Lily Marshall. He is also survived by sister and brother in-laws: Ken & Peggy Decaria, Bruce & Cindy Vaughn, Rebecca Copeland, and Larry Gadd.

He is preceded in death by his sister Melinda Marshall and parents named above. Martin was a very smart man who had a very curious mind and was an all-around enthusiast of many things, including: all things with a motor, racing, computers, politics, and a good debate!  Martin’s philosophy of life was to think kindly of the past and live fully in the now.

A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at 6:00PM at the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston.  All are welcome to attend and share any memories of Martin. Plans are to have a head stone marker placed at the Evanston Wyoming cemetery, and at the Bethlehem Family Cemetery in the Snap community outside of Carthage, Texas where his home will always be.
