Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Marjorie McEntire Smith passed away on October 27, 2012 in Evanston, Wyoming with her family by her side.
She was born on April 23, 1920 in Rexburg, ID to Raymond Eli and Sarah Ann (Zollinger McEntire.
She loved to crochet, play cards, watch movies, read books, cook and follow the Utah Jazz. Marjorie loved going to the Senior Center in Coalville and Evanston where she made many great friends. She lived in Coalville for 58 years and the last two years of her life in Evanston, Wy with her daughter Marjean and husband Vern.
She was very caring of her neighbors and friends and always had something nice to say about everyone. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Blaine (Karen) of Ogden, Ut; David of Urie, Wy; Richard of Green River, Wy; LaMar (Debbie) of Grand Junction, Co; Jeffery of Urie, Wy; Ann Rose of St. Anthony, Id; Linda (Clark) Eugster of Evanston, Wy and MarJean (Vern) Simpson of Evanston, Wy
Also 22 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her son Lynn Smith, a daughter Carol Smith, brothers: Nolan and Reed McEntire and sisters Elma Erikson and Afton Walker; a son-in-law Garth Rose and two grandchildren, Angela Smith and Willie Wright
Funeral service will be on Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Coalville LDS Stake Center Chapel, 40 North Main Street, at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home in Coalville on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the stake center on Friday one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rexburg Cemetery in Rexburg, Idaho.
