Marion Thompson

Marion Earl Thompson 87 passed away on August 30th at the Evanston Regional Hospital with family by his side.
He was born in North Platte Nebraska on April 21, 1929, the son of John C. and Eva Ballentine Thompson.
He met and married the love of his life Anna Lou Andersen Thompson on September 29, 1973.
Marion served his country in Korea and was a 40 year member of the VFW, holding many local and state offices as a member of the American Legion.  He also enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing, hunting, wood-working and making macramé chairs.
He is survived by his loving wife Anna Lou of 43 years, sons Brett Thompson of Minnesota, Royce (Keri) Thompson of Lusk, Wyoming; daughters Marla Troutman of Casper, Wyoming and Rita Thompson of Minnesota; step-sons Ed (Mary) Anderson of Casper, Wyoming, Gene (Sandra) Anderson of Mt. View, Wyoming; Linda Bonner of Evanston, Wyoming, Susan (Dennis) Barker of Mt. View, Wyoming, Michelle (Scott) Burkash, Puyallup, Washington, 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Crandall Funeral Home Tuesday September 6, 2016 at 11:00 am, with a viewing Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Tuesday.  Interment will be at the Fort Bridger Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
