Marilyn Hunter Littleford returned to her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2015. She was born October 18, 1937 in American Fork , the daughter of Asa Elmo and Ferl Lucretia Hunter. After graduating from American Fork High School she attended LDS Business College. She then worked for a short time at Geneva Steel.
She married her eternal companion, Mark S Littleford on April 11, 1958 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Together they enjoyed traveling across North America and spent 4 years in Western Samoa while working with The LDS School System. Marilyn relished the opportunity to take care of church authorities as they traveled to the island. Most importantly, she loved the calling of mother. Her children were one of her greatest priorities in life. She was concerned about them and one of the best listeners they will ever know.
Marilyn held many positions in the LDS Church, serving in presidencies of all auxiliaries. She was passionate about family history and kept some of the most up-to-date and accurate records. Even after multiple surgeries she was concerned about getting out to help people with their genealogy.
One of her great passions was flowers, both in the yard and all over the house.
Marilyn is survived by her children Becky (Kelly) Marchant, Nibley; Jeff (Shalmai) Springville; Curt (Janet) South Jordan; and Melissa (Justin) O’Driscoll, Oakley. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren whom she spoiled greatly. She is also survived by her sister Vivian Turner. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister.
