Margureitte Sibbett

July 12, 1944 — May 13, 2016

On Friday May 13, 2016 our loving mother, sister, aunt, grandma, and best friend was called home by our Lord and savior. Margureitte (Rita) Sibbett was born on July 12, 1944 in Montpelier, Idaho. Her parents were Aaron Lee and Marie (Windley) Lewis. She grew up with two sisters; Mary Yorgensen and Diane Caldwell and two brothers; Evan Lewis and Fred Sebold. Rita had many other brothers and sisters. She loved working, hunting, fishing, camping, anything to do with the outdoors and her family. Memories were always being made. Rita was a member of the Eagles and played a big part in the community. She worked road construction, managed the Red Dog Saloon and Lake Viva Naughton Marina.  Rita always loved a good time. Her last days were spent watching her favorite shows and Nascar. She loved doing puzzles and visiting with all her grandchildren. A coloring book was always close by.
Rita is survived by her daughter; Penny Snarr, her son; Trent Sorenson, and Rita Powers her granddaughter; along with 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Sebold (Widley-Lewis) and her father Aaron Lee Lewis; two of her sons Kent A. Hess and Travis A. Black.
