Margaret Mary “Marge” Sweat, 96, passed away on January 19, 2013 in Evanston, Wyoming.
She was born on November 7, 1916 in Butte, Montana to Johann Adam and Elizabeth Anna (Heppel) Hardle. She was the oldest of nine children.
She married Jack Turner on April 12, 1940. He preceded her in death. She later married Melvin Sweat. He also preceded her.
Marge was a member of the LDS church and loved working in the Manti Temple for a number of years.
She enjoyed dancing and won dance contests. She moved to Evanston, Wyoming in 2002 to be closer to family in her later life.
Most of all Margaret loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Leana (John) Holderegger of Evanston, Wyoming and her son, Glen Martin Turner of St. George, Utah; Nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Her brothers, Raymond (Pauline) Hardle of Salt Lake City, Ut; Danny Hardle of Belmont, Ca; and sisters, Helen Nylund of Santa Maria, CA; May Kemp of St. George UT; and Betty Lambert of Roseville CA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward, Martin (Billy), and Cliff, and three sons, Richard, Jack, and Ron, and a daughter-in-law, Susie.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at noon in the LDS Ward chapel in Manti, Utah. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Manti Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
