Margaret Bollschweiler
Margaret Viola Lang Bollschweiler, 92, passed away on November 28, 2013 at Castle Rock Convalescence Center in Green River, WY after a long brave battle with dementia. She was born November 18, 1921 in Salt Lake City, UT to Alvin & Fuchsia Buckland Lang. She graduated from East High School in 1937 and married the love of her life Marvin F. Bollschweiler September 25, 1939, which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple March 22, 1956.
She was a devoted and loving wife and mother making her family her priority and taking on anything that came her way. In 1951 Marvin and her moved to Evanston, WY to purchase and operate The Western Motel, and later developed a mobile home park. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and Utah Daughters of Pioneers. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in several different capacities for the Relief Society, and served in the Ogden Temple for seven years. She loved to bowl, quilt, research genealogy and do all types of crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Alvin Jr and loving husband. She is survived by her brother Richard Lang along with her children Susan Bollschweiler, Evanston, WY; Margie (Jim) Robinson, Green River, WY; Dennis (Diane) Bollschweiler, Lawai, HI; Janis (Craig) Nelson, Rock Springs, WY; Julie (Mike) Lanning, Las Vegas, NV, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren. Her viewing will be at Crandall Funeral Home December 2nd from 6-8 p.m. followed by the funeral services December 3rd, 2:00 p.m. at the Evanston 2nd Ward, 251 Elm Street. Burial will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
