Lynnette Anneli Sargent
Lynnette Anneli Eveline Sargent, passed away October 19, 2017 surrounded by her family at the University Hospital.
She was born in London, England on November 17, 1942 to Louis Ernest Napoleon Donohoe and Elsie Doris Carpenter Donohoe.
She married Robert “Bob” Verness Sargent on March 21, 1969 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Lynnette was active in the LDS church and loved to read and watch her favorite sports stars on the “tele”. She enjoyed watching Nascar, golf, football, tennis, and cycling. She worked for the Newspaper Agency as a manager with the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News. She has received many awards for her work.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Sargent, of Marion; Children: Jenette (Deron) Dazley, of Phoenix, AZ; Collin Sargent, of Marion; Andrew (Rebecca) Sargent, of Mt. Home, Idaho; Matthew Sargent, of Marion; Timothy Sargent, of Orem; Daniel (Carrie) Sargent, of Logan; Heather (Jeff) Hough of Oakley; and Emily (Jeff) Boyer, of Marion. Her adopted father Fred Dudley; and a brother Christopher Dudley both of England. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Stake Center in Marion, Utah. Viewing will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Interment will follow in the Marion Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
