Lucy Smith

Lucy Viola Tripp Smith passed away on

March 4, 2011 in Delta, Utah.

She was born on November 4, 1926 in Murray , UT

to Owen John and Helen Lenora (Powell) Tripp.

She married Alfred C. Smith on July 26, 1950 in Elko, Nevada.

They had eight children.

She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She enjoyed crochet, puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her sister Delores, of Salt Lake;

her children, Paul Smith of Bozeman, Mt; Vicky Bennett, Delta;

Becky Smith, Heber City; Alfred Smith, St. George,

Steven Smith, Kamas; Emily (Ruben) Lazaro,

and Judy Stanworth, both Delta,

12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren,

and many nieces and nephews.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; parents,

three brothers, Owen P.; John R.; and Donald R. “Buster”

and two sisters, June Stephan and Norma Jacobson,

and a stillborn baby girl.
