Louise Staley

Ara Louise Rasmussen Staley passed away August 31, 2012 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton, Utah.
She was born September 16, 1926 in Evanston, Wyoming to Nephi A. Rasmussen and Melva Calderwood (Rasmussen).
After completing her education, she married Blair Staley on June 21, 1948 in Evanston, Wyoming,  their marriage was later solemnized on July 5, 1972 in the Logan L D S Temple.
She loved her callings in the church, where she served diligently as Young Women’s President and Relief Society President.
Some of her favorite things were, ceramics, sewing and playing bridge, she also loved camping, fishing, and watching sports, but most of all she loved being with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons,  Scott Blair Staley of Cleveland, OH. and Jeffery (Jeannie) Staley of Evanston, WY. Three daughters, Claudia Louise Lewis of Woods Cross, UT. Andrea Colleen (Alan) Olson of Boise, ID. Sheila Kaye (Tom) Moore of Layton, UT. She is also survived by one brother, James (JoAnn) Rasmussen of Evanston, WY. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Blair, parents, two sisters, Wilma Buck and Verla Rasmussen, and a son in law, Ralph Lewis.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11:00 Am at the Crandall Funeral Home. Friends may call from 9:30 – 10:45 Am, before the services.
Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
