Lola Mae Reid Lambert, born May 29, 1936, to James and Julia Estelle Morton Reid in Alamosa, Colorado, died July 23, 2024.
After graduation from high school, Lola came to Kamas to stay with her brother where she met a handsome cowboy, Duane Lambert at a rodeo. They dated for six months before they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple, December 7, 1955. They had five daughters, one son, 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was active in the church and held many positions. She was very musically inclined, playing the piano and organ and singing in various groups. She was a talented seamstress, making Halloween costumes and clothing for all of her children. She enjoyed playing softball and volleyball and putting puzzles together. She worked for Dr. Kumagi and at High Mountain Drug for many years.
She is survived by her husband Duane, daughters, Terri (Terry) Treat, Connie (Reed) Bailey, Stephanie (Bob) Kirkham, Lori (Craig) Rockhill and son Brett Lambert; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, daughter Shari and grandsons Dallas and Wesley.
Viewing will be held at the Francis Ward building, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday morning, August 1, 2024, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Graveside services will be held at the Marion Cemetery at 11:00 am.
