Lloyd Norman Krebs, 83, passed away on November 21, 1914 at his home in Evanston.
He was born on February 22, 1931 in Skellytown, Texas to Ira Edwin and Vallie D. (Hill) Krebs.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
In February of 1962 he married Lucille Elaine Stephen in Cortez, Colorado.
Norm owned and operated Mountain Music in Evanston for twenty six years as well as in Cortez, Colorado for 25 years. He loved music and enjoyed visiting with his customers. He was a bass player in the local band, Country Drifters. He was a professional musician, an active member of the Elks Lodge #1456 of Evanston and the American Legion Post 75 of Cortez, Colorado where he was a past post commander. During his younger years, Norm, drove dirt track race cars in the southern Colorado area, sometimes racing against the Unsers. He lived his life fully and was a good friend to those around him. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille Elaine Krebs; his sons Kenneth (Darlene) Hostetter of Riverton, Wy; Michael ( Karen) Krebs, of Pueblo, Co; and his daughter, Linda (Clark) Barnes of Evanston, Wyo
Also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.
