Lisa Widiker-White, 47, passed away February 19, 2018 after a battle with cancer and kidney failure.
Lisa was born November 24, 1970 in West Bend, WI to Patricia “Pat” (Updike) Fenus and David Widiker. Lisa is also survived by her step mother, Meredith Widiker, and was preceded in death by her step father, Robert Fenus.
Lisa came from a large family and she loved all of them. Lisa is survived by her children, Courtney Gibson of Casper, WY, Gage Mercer of Rock Springs, WY and Trenda (Carson) Stucki of Black Foot Falls, ID as well as her five grandchildren, Camdyn, Teagan, Karsen, Stedson and Skylee. She is also survived by her sisters, Debra (Steve) Genger of Woodland Park, CO, Sandra Nihart of Casper, WY, Jackie (Shawn) Harding of Fruita, CO and Katie (Grant) Elliott of Fort Collins, CO and her brothers, Thomas (Vicki) Widiker of Glenrock, WY and Dustin (Vergie) Smart of Alcova, WY as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
When Lisa was a toddler, she ‘rode’ her green inchworm toy down a flight of stairs in the family home. She wanted to do it over and over. At that time she was given the nickname, “Tuffy”. Lisa fought tough with her illness, and Heaven has received “Tuffy’ now.
Lisa was a true Denver Bronco, John Elway and Peyton Manning fan, as well as a strong American Patriot. She loved country music, especially Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan. Recently, she enjoyed watching Shaun White win his 3rd Olympic Gold medal.
Cremation is being handled by Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, WY.
The family will hold a private life celebration at a later date.
