Linzie Adkins

June 2, 1932 — June 24, 2015

Linzie Clayton Adkins passed away in Evanston on June 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 2, 1932 in Oklahoma to John Lee Adkins and Ruby Woodell.
He served his country in the Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict.
He married Janice Kindler on June 17, 1953.  She preceded him in death on December 5, 2011.
Linzie was a truck driver and enjoyed traveling and seeing different places, but he most enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra Lyn Adkins of Ogden, UT; Darla Dee (Frank) Cossitt of Powell, WY;  Krissa Donell Warren of Evanston, WY. Sons: Curtis Lee Adkins of Evanston, WY; and Craig Adkins, both of Evanston, WY. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, John Wesley (Elzada) Adkins, of Maysville, OK; Ted Thomas (Jerri) Adkins of Mt. View, WY; and a sister: Helen (Junior) Byrd of Paul’s Valley, OK.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Parents, one brother, Richard and one sister, Irene.
Graveside with Military Honors will be held on Saturday June 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Evanston City Cemetery.
