Linda Diane Thomas, 65, beloved wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away July 22, 2016 in Ogden, Utah surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 29, 1951 in Heber City, Utah to Howard Taylor and Florence (Blackley) Rockhill.
On June 21, 1968 she married her high school sweetheart, Ferron Lee Thomas in Kamas, Utah.
Linda loved to spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed time at the lake and at the family hunting camp. Her most joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She loved watching western movies. She was a member of the LDS Church. She also enjoyed her work as a Dental Assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Thomas, of Green River; Children: Tory (Sunny) Thomas of Rock Springs; Kasey Thomas of Green River; Cole (Aimee) Thomas of Fort Bridger; Kristin (Mike) Goates of Mountain View; Mindi (Tim) Roberts of Green River; and her 14 grandchildren. Brothers: Kendall Rockhill, of Marion, UT; Byron (JoAnn) Rockhill of Marion, UT; and Carolyn Andersen of Ogden, UT.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Florence Rockhill; brother –in-law, Paul Anderson and sister-in-law, Joyce Rockhill.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone Ave. Viewing will be held at the church Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Green River City Cemetery.
