Linda Sue Croft loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away March 23, 2012 in her
home after a long battle with cancer.
Linda was born October 11, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to Clarence Bernard Barclay and Dortha
(Johnson) Barclay.
She married Paul Croft on February 16, 1973. They later divorced.
Throughout her life she enjoyed spending her time with friends, sewing and being with her
family, especially her grandchildren. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and spent time
singing to her children. She always loved country music. Her favorite things were butterflies and
weekend trips to Wendover.
She is survived by her daughters Tonya (Zully) Lazaro and Karen Croft both of Evanston. Sons
Paul Clifford Croft of St. Louis Missouri and Scott Croft of Colorado, Grandchildren Lindsey,
Ashlee and Zoe Lazaro all of Evanston, brothers Robert Barclay of San Antonia Texas, Gary and
Dave Barclay of Cambridge Ohio and James and Gene Barclay of Ohio as well as numerous
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dortha and two sisters Roberta (Barclay)
Evans and Jolene (Barclay) McWhorter.
A memorial service will be held at the Bear River Pavilion on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
