Linda G. Bagley, 65, passed away September 23, 2014 in Evanston, Wyoming due to complications from a stroke.
She was born on September 20, 1949 in Glendale, California to Glenn and Frances (Overbaugh) Hamilton. She attended grade school and high school in Reseda, CA. Linda then attended Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho where she met her future husband Darnell. They were married on May 15, 1968 in the Logan L.D.S. Temple.
Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church. She loved working at the Uinta County Library for 28 years.
She is survived by her husband, Darnell; a son, Colton of Evanston; and daughters, Brenda (Scott) Todd of Evanston; Tammy Henry, Spokane Valley, WA; Sheila (Nick) Parton, Oak Grove, AR; and Julie (Jason) Whitehurst, of Bourbon, IN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; brother Ronald Hamilton, and sister JoAnn Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Valerie Marie Bagley, and her son-in-law, Steve Henry.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Evanston Fourth Ward Chapel, 200 Sage Street. Friends may call at the Crandall Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Graveside service will be held in the Fairview Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
