Liddie Eyre

Liddie Pauline Eyre passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Evanston, Wyoming.  She was born May 24, 1913 in Lyman, Wyoming to Henry John and Melissa Jane Stewart Bluemel.

She was raised in Bridger Valley, Wyoming of pioneer stock, the 10th of 12 children and the last of her family to pass away.  She married Preston Eugene Eyre July 18, 1933 in Morgan, Utah and was later sealed in the Logan Temple in 1957.

Liddie worked for J. C. Penney for 22 years, being named “Clerk of the Year” several times.

She is survived by daughter Shauna Jean (George) Brimhall of Evanston, Wyoming, and her son Preston LaMar (Sharron) Eyre of Lehi, Utah.
Also eleven grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Eugene Eyre in 1974 and her parents, a great granddaughter Charly Jean Rasmussen and all 11 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Evanston LDS Sage Street Church.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston from 6 to 8 pm as well as one hour prior to services at the Church.  Burial will follow services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
