A viewing for Lewis Gale Staley will be held Tuesday evening at Crandall Funeral Home on April 29, 2014 from 6-8 pm. A grave side service the following day at 10:00 am will be held at the Coalville Cemetery in Coalville, UT.
Lewis Gale Staley was born in Coalville, UT in 1932. He moved to Rich County, UT with his family where he spent the majority of his time on the Deseret Land and Livestock . He served his country in the army during the Korean War. Lew worked for South and Jones Lumber in Evanston, WY for the rest of his working career. He enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors , his place of worship was the wide open spaces. He married Judy and had four children. Lew passed away on April, 25,2014 in Kemmerer, WY after a long battle with cancer. Lew is survived by his children Ted & Ouida Staley (Keiser,OR) , Jeannie & Jeff Licht (Evanston ,WY) ,and Jake & Rachel Staley (Big Piney, WY) . He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Jared and Nettie, his sisters Mary and Kathryn, and son Billy . Lew and his stories will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Huntsman Cancer Foundation in his name.
