Lester Donald Crompton, age 35, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Evanston, WY. Lester was born on August 18, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah; the son of Jerry D. and Rae Lynn (Bennett) Crompton.
He enjoyed playing video games, collecting dragons, his animals, spending time with his family and helping others. Lester was employed at the Wyoming State Hospital.
He is survived by his daughter, Shayla Lynne Crompton and his soon to arrive grandson, Alexander Crompton; his parents, Jerry and Rae Lynn Crompton, of Evanston, WY.; a sister, Nicole (Crompton) Hamp, and her companion Krystel Williams, of Evanston, WY.; and his fiancé, Sarah Stutes Cormany.
Lester thought of J.J., Nichole Lemoureux, Tammy Lemoureux, Amber Varela and Rochelle Taylor as his daughters, who also all survive him. He is also survived by grandfather, Walter (Dick) Bennett, of Rock Springs, WY.; and Jo Ann Olah, uncles, Charles (Skeeter) Crompton, Jess and Betty Crompton, Danny Bennett, Aunt Glynis and Willie Cederburg, and several cousins and many other friends. Lester has joined man family members and friends, including his grandmothers, Loretta Bennett, and Ila Crompton and grandfather, William (Bill) Crompton, and his Aunt Lou Ann Crompton, who always called Lester her baby boy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6-8PM at Crandall Funeral Home and one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Crandall Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
