Leroy Hunt

Leroy Verald Hunt passed away Saturday morning November 7, 2015, at home in Fort Bridger. He was born July 6, 1939, in Price, Utah to Verald Leroy Hunt and Margaret E. Ogden.
He attended school and graduated in Green River, Utah. He married Mary Ellen Swasey on May 21, 1960, in Ely, Nevada, for fifty-five years of marriage. Together they had five children, Marilee, Verald, Mitch, Lisa and Scott.
Leroy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and prospecting. He was a miner most of his life at Allied Chemical, Soda Mine.
He is preceded in death by his sons Verald and Mitch Hunt and a grandson Kasey Hunt.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Urie LDS Stake Center at 11:00 am. Viewing will begin at 9:30 am, burial to follow at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
