Laura York

Our beloved, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Laura Lee York of Evanston, Wyoming went to be with the Lord on July 22nd, 2013 at 21:10 p.m.  She was preceded by her husband of 41 years, Theodore Wesley York, whom she married on July 3rd, 1957.
She is survived by her children, daughter Tamra (Bill); son Theodore Wesley Jr (Teresa), and daughter Jewel (Quint).  She has seven grandchildren, Tony, Daniel, Westly, Jonathon, Charity, Colby and Katie.  She has nine great grandchildren and one on the way.
All friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Evanston City Cemetery on July 27th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (Graveside Service)
Mom had many interests.  She enjoyed the medical field most of her life.  She work as a CAN for many years then worked in housekeeping at ERH, where she retired.  Other interests included, working on quilts with her friends and most recent going to the pool and getting a piece of “pie” afterwards.  Mom also enjoyed playing pinnacle with her friends and crocheting blankets for all of the great grandchildren.  Mom looked forward to sitting on the back deck watching all the different birds and wildlife.  She loved the view.  She was also an active member of Crossroads Newlife Fellowship Church in Evanston, WY.
We will greatly miss her.  She has been a great source of comfort and love for us all.
