Laura was born on February 8, 1952 in Denver, CO and went to her Eternal Rest on January 28, 2023 in Lyman, WY.
Laura spent her childhood and into young adulthood in the Denver Metropolitan Area graduating from Aurora Central High School in 1969, where she was active in the marching band. She then moved to Deer Trail, CO with her parents briefly but returned to Denver in the early 1970s. Here she met and married her first husband and moved to Socorro, NM.
While in NM, she raised her two children, was active in the catholic church and The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Laura then moved to Albuquerque, NM where she was employed with the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Department for many years before returning to CO.
Laura spent many years in Colorado living mostly on the Eastern Plains, where she married her second husband, and worked for a variety of companies finally settling in a Wal-Mart where she remained employed until her retirement.
After many years in CO, Laura moved to Wyoming where she spent the remainder of her life borrowing a brief move to Pahrump, NV. Laura was active with Ft. Bridger rendezvous for several years and enjoyed spending time with her friends and pets.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Wilson and Elvira Snyder Wilson; her daughter Dana Trujillo; her granddaughter Zoe Garcia and both her spouses.
Laura is survived by her friend and companion George Andreen; her daughter Erika Hoffman and her husband; her grandchildren Heather Trujillo, James Henry, Ariana Garcia, Sebastian Maggard and Madison Hoffman; her great grandchildren Layla Haley, Jaxon Smiley and Ellie Smiley; as well as numerous friends, cousins, her sister and her niece and nephew.
