Lanice Loraine Bright Hutchinson, 50, passed away on November 24, 2014, at the St Mark Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, from a massive heart attack.
Lanice was born October 15, 1964, in Brigham City, Utah, to Charles and Patricia Bright. She grew up in Evanston, Wyoming, where she attended school, participating in band, choir, theater, and track & field. She graduated in 1983. She married Mike Hutchinson in the Salt Lake Temple on April 20, 1991. Together, they resided in Spring Creek, Nevada, where Lanice was joyfully involved with the activities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2nd Ward.
Lanice was well-loved and was known for her compassion and positive outlook on life. She had a deep fondness for animals, especially cats. She played the piano and wrote several beautiful compositions.
She is survived by her husband Mike Hutchinson, her mother Patricia Bright, Evanston, WY, and her siblings Forrest Bright (Patti) Cheyenne, WY, Kathrine Putnam, Evanston, WY, Kalei Bright (Vicki), Rock Spring, WY, Joe Bright, Studio City, CA, Tris Bright, and Mary Wagstaff, (Jeff) of Evanston. Lanice was preceded in death by her father Charles Bright, her brother Adrian Bright, and her niece Alexis Boula.
A viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, from 6pm to 8pm at Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta Street, Evanston, WY. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at 2pm in the South Stake Building, 632 Twin Ridge Ave., Evanston, WY. A second viewing will be held at this location an hour prior to the funeral services.
