Lane Ted Telford
Lane Ted Telford, our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, completed his life’s mission and passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 15, 2015.
He was born in Evanston, Wyoming, on November 30, 1963, to Roger S. Telford and Darlene June Kennedy Telford. He is the youngest of four children. He spent his early childhood in Randolph, Utah, until four years old. At that time he moved with his family to Morgan, Utah. Lane, and his sister Brenda, attended the School for the Blind in Ogden, Utah, for ten years and made many dear friends along the way.
Lane and his family moved back to the family ranch in Randolph, Utah, when he was 13 years old; where he attended South Rich High School. Lane enjoyed his high school years and the friends made there. He graduated with honors from South Rich High School in 1983.
As a child, Lane ran wherever we went and loved to ride his horse, Buddy. He was a fun-loving guy who rolled with the punches and was a joy to be around. He made friends easily and loved to tease. He loved his family and his nieces and nephews loved to be around him. He was always grateful for everything that was done for him and always had a “Thank you” for whoever was serving him. He is always up for an adventure. He loved concerts, plays, BYU and Utah Jazz games, high school sporting events, and fishing. Lane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is diligent in his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. Despite his health challenges, he lived a life of love, charity, service, and great faith. He was a powerful example to those lucky enough to know him.
Lane is survived by his parents, Roger and Darlene Telford; three siblings, Debra (Les) Mellott, Hank (Bonnie) Telford, Brenda Telford, 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
