Lance Walker

Lance Jay Walker, passed away at the age of 44 on May 17, 2015 while living in Lyman, WY.  He was born on June 12, 1970 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Robin and the late Lenard Walker.  He is survived by his wife, Janice Walker, two daughters; Courtney and Chesney, his mom Robin (Carl) Johnston, his sister Sommer (Jeremy) Tysver, his grandmother, Bonnie Fillin, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Lance is preceded in death by his Dad Lenard Walker, his grandfather, Whitey (Grant) Walker, his gramdmother, Dorothy Walker, his grandfather, Gene Fillin, and his aunt, Tanya Maddox.
Lance attended Lyman High School where he earned two state champion titles in wrestling and later graduated in the spring of 1988.  He then received his certification from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.
On June 24, 1995 he married his one true love, Janice.  She loved to spend time with Lance no matter what he was up to.  Even though they were complete opposites, they were more than perfect for each other.  After two years, they decided to start a family.  Courntey Raelynn Walker was born on July 18, 1997, with dark hair, blue eyes, and Lance’s nose Courtney became the center of their lives.  Two years later, they gave her a younger sister.  Chesney Skye Walker was born on January 21, 2000, and she completed their family.
Lance enjoyed many hobbies with family and friends.  His first passion was riding and racing his motorcycle.  This was something that he did throughout his whole life.  This journey began at the age of 4 when he got his first motorcycle.  He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.  He shared his passion for hunting with his daughter Chesney.  Lance also loved to spend time fishing with his daughter Courtney.  He never did anything without the helping, loving, and supporting hand of his wife; Janice.
His kind heart and his personality that was unlike any other made it easy for anyone he met to feel an immediate connection.
Funeral services for Lance will be conducted on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyman High School Auditorium.  A viewing will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  in the Music Room of the High School; and then again from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the services on Friday in the High School Auditorium.
Lance’s family would like to thank everyone for the endless support that they have received during this difficult time.
