Kristy Lynn Pierce, age 48, passed away in Layton, Utah on December 12, 2016.

She was born on May 25, 1968 in Coalville, Utah to Russell Pierce and Connie Wilson Pierce Giadiano. Kristy’s hobbies included running her dogs, fishing, camping, playing on her computer, coloring and just going for a drive. She loved her Unicorns hanging all around her home, and was always happy with a new ring on her finger. Family was important to Kristy. She loved spending time with her daughter Jessica. Kristy was always on the phone with friends and other family especially her little nephew Wesley. She had a Heart of Gold and would bring a smile to anyone she met. She was a true Angel and will be missed every day.

Kristy is survived by her daughter Jessica (Ben) Grabhorn, her dog Linus, mother Connie Giadiano and sister Sandra Dee Hutchinson. She is also survived by her grandfather Junior Wilson; nieces and nephews including Wesley, Trestin, DeAnna, Samantha and Travis as well as many aunts and uncles.

Kristy was preceded in death by her father Russell Pierce; her sister Sherrie Pierce; nephew Austin Pierce and grandparents Ruby E. Wilson and Joseph and Stella Pierce.

A celebration of life will be held June 15, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the Evanston City Cemetery. Come visit with Jessica, Connie and family from 3:30 to 4:00 PM before the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jessica and Connie for funeral services.

One very special thank you to aunts and uncles, friends and family for tireless care and compassion for Kristy.
