Korde Skinner

July 25, 1961 — March 27, 2019

Korde Wan Skinner was born on July 25, 1961 to Dan and Nona Skinner in Afton, Wyoming. Heaven gained an amazing man on March 27, 2019, when he passed away unexpectedly at his home outside of Evanston, Wyoming. He had a very kind and caring soul. He loved spending time with family and brought joy to anyone he encountered. He could light up a room with his contagious smile and loving personality. Korde helped his dad Dan, for many years on the family ranch, taking care of the horses and feeding and watering the dogs. He had compassion for all living things. Korde enjoyed spending time shed hunting, playing Pacman and Nintendo with his nieces and nephews, watching WWE (wrestling) and his beloved Vikings. He looked forward to the days of going on the next adventure with his brother Scott and having a new story to tell when he got home. He enjoyed being around and helping his neighbors and friends and would always let everyone know what the latest weather report was. He will be deeply and dearly missed.
Korde is proceeded in death by Wan A. Nelson (grandfather), Audra Keeler Nelson (grandmother), Cleora Skinner (grandmother), and Cecil Skinner (grandfather).
He is survived by his sister Danece Skinner Tate, nephews Dillon (Corinna) Tate, Brody Tate, niece Danielle (Charles) Blakeman, great-niece Pearl Blakeman, and great-nephew Kacy Blakeman. Brother, Scott (Audrey) Skinner, nephew Kade Skinner, niece Natalie (AJ) Bertagnolli, and great-nephew Cannon Bertagnolli. Sister Melanie (Shane) Skinner Crittenden, and nephews Bridger and Brayden Crittenden. Sister Cory Skinner, niece Abbie Christensen, and nephew Owan Christensen.
We will have a celebration of life for Korde on his birthday in July.
“Those special moments of you will always bring a smile, if only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do, you always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause me pain, but you’re forever in my heart until we meet again.”
