Katie Lynn Johnsen passed away on July 12, 2013 at the East Tyler Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. Katie was born on July 21, 1979 in Crescent City, California to Victor Alexander Steier and Ranee Lee Field.
Katie married Dakota Martin in Evanston, Wyoming and later divorced.   She then married Tim Johnsen in Evanston, Wyoming, and later divorced.
Katie was a graduate of Evanston High School in 1998 and went on to become a CNA.  She enjoyed growing flowers, spending time on Facebook, listening to music, writing poems, scrapbooking, and making crafts with her kids.  She was a very kind and she had a very big heart; and will be deeply missed.
Katie is survived by her son Alec Johnsen of Elk Grove, California and daughters Hope Martin and Paris Martin both of Evanston, Wyoming; her father Victor, of Austin, Texas; her mother Ranee of Evanston, Wyoming; her brothers Jamie (Courtney) Steier and Drew Steier both of Evanston, Wyoming; her grandmothers Karen Field of Evanston, Wyoming and Edith Steier, of Reader,  North Dakota; her aunt Lana (Robert) Davidson and a cousin Britany (Garrett) Erickson, both of Evanston, Wyoming; and numerous aunts, uncles in North Dakota.
Katie was preceded in death by both grandfathers; Milton Field and Joseph Steier, and by her cousin Blake Knowles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston, Wyoming.   A visitation will be held one hour prior to services beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
