Karolyn Anderson

Karolyn Louise King Anderson, 65, passed away 22 February 2019 in the Evanston, Wyoming Hospital from complications of an automobile accident in Fort Collins, Colorado.  She was born 8 August 1953 in Provo, Utah to Nathan Loren King and Sarah Louise Devenish King.

She attended schools in Provo, Utah, graduating from Provo High School in 1971.  She married Jon Welsh 29 June 1973 in Provo, Utah.  From this union 2 children were born, Vanessa Kae Welsh, and Robert Loren Welsh.  They were later divorced.  She married William Hutchings 7 March 1984 in Provo, Utah and they later divorced. No children were born to that union.  She then married her current husband Gary V. Anderson on 7 August 1999 in Payson, Utah.  There were no children born to this union.

She loved music, particularly Neil Diamond, most any song he sang but particularly “Sweet Caroline.”  She loved doing crafts, scrapbooking, rockhounding, and silversmithing. She also did some very pretty crochet work.  Vanessa said she gave great presents.  She was very resourceful in all things she did and made her children and family proud of her.  She had to be very self-reliant while raising her children mostly on her own. She was generous to a fault and would give you her last nickel if you needed it.  She leaves a large hole in all of our hearts and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.  Rest in peace sweet lady.

She is survived by her husband and children and two brothers, Ernest (Merlyn) King, and Terry King (Wendy), two grandchildren, Dylan David Davis, and Xulan David Welsh.

Interment will be at the Lyman City Cemetery, Lyman, Wyoming.
