June R. Sims passed away on January 7, 2013 at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston. She was born on August 6, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frederick S. Robinson and Florence Farnsworth Robinson.
June married Arthur Sims on October 21, 1935 in Morgan, Utah.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. She enjoyed being a part of the Relief Society and served in the mutual program. Together, she and her husband worked to run the Sims Dairy and then later the Sims Ranch. June also worked as a nurse for many years at the Memorial Hospital. She loved her home and was an exceptional cook and homemaker.
June is survived by a sister Signa Johnson of Evanston, WY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters; Alta, Ivy, Leah, Erma, Elaine, and Winifred.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place.
A graveside service for June will be held on January 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Evanston City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be very appreciated.
