Josie Bell

March 29, 1919 — November 23, 2015

Josie Bell passed away on November 23, 2015 in Evanston, Wyoming following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on March 29, 1919 in Peterson, Utah to Albert V.  and Clara Catherine (Gibby) Whitear.
She married John W. Bell on December 30, 1944 in Ogden, Utah.   He preceded her in death on January 6, 2002.
She is survived by her children: JoLynn (Bob) Holmes of Evanston, Wyoming LuAnn (Scott) Pedersen of Philomath, Oregon; and daughter-in-law,  Susan (Lyle) Bell of Jacksonville, Florida; also, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Josie enjoyed writing poetry and doing crossword puzzles.  She was an active member to the L.D.S. Church and held various callings including, Young Women’s, Sunday School, Primary, Relief Society, and visiting teaching.
In addition to her husband, John, one son, Lyle, she is also preceded by two brothers; six sisters, and her parents.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston, Wyoming.  Friends and family will gather for viewing one hour prior to the service at Crandall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Evanston Cemetery.
