Jonathan Powell

Jonathan David Powell, 44 passed away December 21, 2021 in Heber City, Utah.

He was born on June 5, 1977 in Heber City, Utah to Antoine T. and Monna K. (McEvers) Powell.

Jonathan loved spending time with his family.  He was very good with numbers and kept track of time and temperatures daily, important dates like birthdates, holidays, ages, etc.  He was kind, caring, and honest.  He traveled widely with his parents, including Korea, Hawaii, Sweden, Mexico, and Alaska.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission with his parents at the Family Tree Visitor’s Center in Park City.   He worked as an Associate at Walmart in Park City and at White Knight in Kamas.  Jonathan enjoyed bowling and Special Olympics with the Heber Danville Group.  Most recently, Jonathan spent time living in Springville and Orem with the Chrysalis Organization.

He  will be missed by his parents, Antoine and Monna; and his brothers: Shane (Jung Hee) Powell; Wade (Liz) Powell; Logan (Jennifer) Powell, Cameron (Johannah) Powell; and his sisters: Kimberly (Mark) Mason; Jennifer Powell; Tiffany (Doug) Maready; and Heather (Rob) Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be in the Kamas L.D.S. Stake Center on Friday December 31st 11:00 AM.  Viewing will be at the Stake Center on Thursday December 30th from  5:00 to 7:00 PM and again one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Marion Cemetery
