Jonathan Cantu

Jonathan L Cantu, 47, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday March 6, 2020 in Evanston, WY.

Jonathan was born to Hector and Roxy Cantu in San Diego, California.

Jonathan enjoyed watching the sunsets and looking at the moon and stars. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and socializing, camping in the mountains and fishing with his family and friends.

He died doing what he liked doing; being with his dogs Zeena, Chico and Toby.

He married the love of his life Dawn Walker on September 15, 2014 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Walker-Cantu; his son Jordan Cantu (Stephanie Pasada); grandsons Braxton and Bronson of Texas; his parents Hector and Roxy Cantu of Evanston; a sister Lisa Cantu-King (Robert) of San Diego, CA; 5 brothers, Adrian Cantu (Vickie) of Rock Springs, Wy, Brian Cantu of Evanston, Jared Cantu (Mandy) of Boulder, WY, Spencer Cantu (Carrie) of Green River, WY and Joshua Cantu of Evanston, and several nieces and nephews.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 202 at Beeman Cashin in Evanston.
