Jolene East Revelli passed away April 27, 2023, at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, WY after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease. Jolene was born on May 16, 1940, in Oak City, UT to Clarence East and Leona Dutson. On Aug 4, 1958, she married Dominick “Jerry” Revelli. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 15, 1961. Jolene and Jerry were blessed with 6 children, Dale, Serieta, Steve, Sherie, David, and Valerie. Jolene and Jerry have 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Jolene’s family were the most important part of her life and her greatest treasure. She loved them beyond measure. She spent countless hours attending to the needs of her daughter, Serieta. She loved traveling to visit her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made a great effort to attend all their activities. Jolene enjoyed canning and loved sharing this talent, making Christmas and Valentine cookies for family and friends, embroidering, and loved working in her yard.
Jolene was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities including the Young Women’s, Primary and in the Relief Society as a Compassionate Service Leader filling the role of funeral luncheon director for many years. She was very compassionate, making sure families received the special attention they needed at such difficult times in their lives. Jolene and Jerry enjoyed home teaching together and made long lasting friendships in doing so. Her life was filled with selfless service to family and all to whom she became acquainted.
Jolene is survived by her husband Jerry; her sons, Dale (Debbie) Revelli of Evanston WY, Steve (Faith) Revelli of Saratoga Springs UT, and David (Jill) Revelli of Rio Rancho NM; her daughters, Sherie (Kevin) Humphrey of Evanston WY and Valerie (Denten) Park of Springville UT; and her sister ElDula Rawlinson of Tremonton UT. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Serieta Dawn; a grandson, Gabriel Revelli; her parents; and sisters, Afton Nielson, Betsy Willden, and Arlene Nielson.
Jolene will be dearly missed by her family and friends. We would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to Rocky Mountain Care for taking care of Jolene in the last few years of her life.
