John Chamberlain

July 3, 1955 — August 20, 2016

Our beloved John Allen Chamberlain passed Aug 20th, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater County in Rock Springs.

He was born on July 3rd, 1955 in Evanston, Wyoming to Harold Orson and Alice Zeta Danielson-Chamberlain. He graduated from Evanston High School in 1973 and married Barbara Ruth Jackson on Feb 23rd, 1974. They later divorced.

For much of his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoor life. He was active in 4-H, scouting and was a gold member of the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club. His passion was teaching youth about hunter safety.

He was a member of The LDS Church.

He was a 43-year employee of Church and Dwight.

He is survived by 5 children; sons John Wesley(Debra) of Raymond, Alberta, Canada; Michael Joe of Grand Junction, Colorado; Justin Allen of Evanston ; Dusty James of Green River, and daughter Jeanne Marie (Sergio) MenDivil of Casper; brothers Von (Alice) Chamberlain of Lyman; Lynn (Kathy) Chamberlain of Evanston, and sister Alice (Bill) Gebhart of Evanston,  7 grand kids and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and nephew Christopher Dale Gebhart..

A public viewing will be held Thursday,  August  25th from 6 to 8pm at Crandall's Funeral home. A gravesite ceremony will take place at a future date.
