Evanston, WY - Jo Anne (Cross) Miller, formerly of Carroll, passed away peacefully at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston, Wyoming on January 14, 2017, her mother's birthday.
She was born in Sac City, Iowa on February 28, 1951 to the late Beth and Gene Cross. Jo Anne attended Carroll High School and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. She worked for many years in the nursing field in Evanston, Wyoming.
Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Beth and Gene Cross, sister, Sandra and brother, Kevin.
She is survived by her daughter, Jodie McClure of Evanston, Wyoming and three grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory is brother, Ken Cross of Lancaster, California, sister, Jeanne (Cross) Geiger of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and stepfather, Richard Vanderheiden of Auburn, Iowa.
The family extends their gratitude to the caregivers at the Rocky Mountain Care Center and to Dr. Michael Adams.
Services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Cory Grove Cemetery, Sac City.
