Jerry Lynn Gunter, age 64, passed away at L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 13, 2014. He was born on September 24, 1949, in Rexburg, Idaho, the son of Lewis and Wanda Gunter.
He married Nancy Cammille Gardner, on June 14, 1974 in the Provo LDS Temple. She preceded him in death in 2008. He later married Debra Reynolds on May 5, 2009 in Evanston, WY. Jerry worked for numerous years as an electrician at FMC.
Jerry loved spending time tinkering with lots of things, and tools. He loved electronics, reading, and especially spending time with his family, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Gunter, of Lyman, WY.; a son, Jared (Kristy) Gunter, of Lyman, WY.; a daughter, Alesha (Holden) Maycock, of Mt. View, WY.; step children, Mark (Lori Ann) Johnson, of Aztec, NM.; Mindy (Skip) Banta, of Midland, TX.; Benjamin (Deanna) Johnson, of Orem, UT.; Joshua (Shayla) Johnson, of Grantsville, UT.; Jennifer (Dougie), Seabinda, of Byron, TX.; Jessica Johnson, of West Valley City, UT.; Ann (Adel) Mina, of West Valley City, UT.; and Jason Johnson, of Grantsville, UT. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, Rodger (Susan) Gunter, of Blackfoot, ID.; and a brother, Jim (Sally) Gunter, of Rexburg, ID.; and a sister, Linda Gunter, of Blackfoot, ID.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Nancy Cammille Gunter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Urie LDS Stake center, with a viewing being held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow services at the Fort Bridger Cemetery, Fort Bridger, WY.
