Jerry Arthur

Jerry Brian Arthur, age 61, of Fort Bridger, Wyoming passed away on May 15, 2022.  Jerry was born November 24, 1960 to Ramon and Neta Arthur in Evanston, Wyoming.

He grew up in Fort Bridger with his two older brothers, Roy and Claude, and his younger sister and brother, Tammy and Milton. Jerry loved to spend time with his family and helped out neighbors and family friends whenever he could.

In 1979 Jerry graduated from Mt. View High School, and started working at Allied Chemicals which would later be called General Chemical, and is now Tata Chemicals. Jerry worked there until he retired at the age of 52.

It was also in 1979 that he married the love of his life Beverly. They went on to have 3 children, Jenilee (Steven) Schwartz, Tara Arthur, and Kegan Arthur and two grandchildren, Shyln Schwartz and Cirica Arthur.

Jerry loved spending time outdoors, backpacking with his friends, camping with his family and occasionally fishing.

In 2012 Jerry retired from Tata Chemicals to spend more time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Neta Arthur, his son Kegan Arthur and his older brother Roy Arthur and his Father-in-Law Henry Lee.

Jerry is survived by his wife Beverly Arthur, his children Jenilee (Steven) Schwartz and Tara Arthur. His grandchildren Shyln Schwartz and Cirica Arthur, his Dad and Step-mom Ramon and Sue Arthur, his Brothers Claude (Jackie) Arthur and Milton (Megan) Arthur, his sister Tammy (Terry) Huntington.

Funeral services will be held at the LDS Stake Center, Monday May 23, 2022. Viewing will be at 9:30 am, with services beginning at 11.  Graveside services at the Fort Bridger Cemetery to follow.
