Jaymi Lott

May 6, 1985 — December 3, 2019

Jaymi Nicole Johnson Wharton Lott “Nickie”, age 34, returned home to her Father in Heaven on Dec. 3rd, 2019 in San Clemente, CA.

Nickie was born on May 6, 1985 in Salt Lake City, UT to David and Debra Johnson. She was a twin and was second out of seven children. She and her six siblings were adopted by Sean and Rebecca Wharton in 2001.

Nickie graduated from South Summit High School and shortly after attended Sherman Kendall’s Academy where she received her cosmetology license. She loved all things beauty, doing hair and she had many jobs as a cosmetologist. She also often helped out by doing siblings’ and friends’ hair.

She adored her children and loved being a mom. She treasured time spent with her three beautiful daughters, Jaydin, Brightyn and Oakleigh. They were her everything. She loved being with family and friends, having fun and laughing. She always had a witty remark and easily laughed at her own jokes. She was very caring and always willing to help in any way she could.

She was battling addiction and courageously moved to California in 2018 where she attended addiction and recovery programs, met new people and enjoyed going to meetings to further aid in her recovery.

She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Jaydin, Brightyn and Oakleigh Lott; her parents, Sean and Rebecca Wharton, and David and Debra Johnson; her sisters, Alyssa (Gentry) DiStefano, Emily (Ryan) Welker, Mindy Wharton, Izabell Wharton and Lilly Wharton; her brothers, Daren Wharton, Gavin (McKenzie) Wharton, Jacob Wharton, Kelton (Jaida) Wharton; her grandparents, Kay Benedict, Ralph and Kim Wharton and Sandra Sledge as well as many more aunts, uncles, cousins and family members who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Bernice Glad, and Tim Benedict, her great aunt Helen Glad, her aunt Linda Glad, her uncles Larry and Kim Glad, and her cousin Todd Wharton.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, December 13, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kamas Stake Center located at 2916 N. State Road 32 Kamas UT, 84036.
Friends and family may attend the viewing from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior.

Nickie was a wonderful, happy and fun mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who associated with her.
