Jason Keller, age 34, passed away on January 23, 2013 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was born on May 19, 1978 in
Evanston, Wyoming, the son of Mark and Julie Keller.
He graduated from Evanston High School in 1996. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996-2000, and the active reserves
from 2000-2003. While in the military he received the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (1 star), the Armed Forces Expedition Medal
(1 star); the Navy Unit Commendation; the Humanitarian Service Medal; the Joint Meritorious Unit Award; Marine Corps Good Conduct
Medal; and the Armed Forces Service Medal.
Jason was employed as a Plant Specialist A for Chevron. He was a proud Marine Veteran; and served overseas during Operation Iraqi Desert
Thunder; and Southern Watch Iraq. Jason loved his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time outdoors with them as much as he could.
Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his quads in the desert, fast cars and big trucks.
Jason is survived by his Father, Mark Keller, Mother, Julie Keller, sister, Ramey (Brian) Keller Hatch, brother, Duston (Ashley Moretti) McConnell and a nephew
Dawson Hatch and a niece, Bentley McConnell, his girlfriend, Ashley Bishop and her daughters, Colette, and Mersayah.
Visitation will be held at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY.; Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be
conducted on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Crandall Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Snow officiating. Interment will full military
honors will be held at the Evanston City Cemetery.
