Jannette Hutchinson, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family in Hilliard, WY. She was born to Dean and Dora Avila Rose in Mammoth, UT on March 14, 1940. She married and was sealed for time and all eternity to Sterlin Arthur Hutchinson in June of 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Jannette was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Primary President, young women’s advisor, and gospel doctrine teacher. She also served an LDS Ogden Temple working mission and was dedicated to the love of Her Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. Jannette was a Daughters of Utah Pioneers member and loved to crochet accomplishing multiple forms of handiwork. She enjoyed yard work and gardening. Her greatest joy and the light of her life was her family. She has given her family a legacy of faithfulness and love.
Jannette is survived by her husband Sterlin of Evanston, WY; daughter RaNae Hutchinson of Evanston, WY; son Thane (Julie) Hutchinson of Wellsville, UT; daughter Jalin (Walter) Sopkowicz of Bowie, MD; 9 grandchildren, and a sister Carolee (Jerry) Martin of Lake Havasu, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Walter Paulson; sister Betty Jean Rose; sister Linnea Lester; sister Jenny Hyde, and in-laws Aurthur & Alberta Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Hilliard LDS Ward Chapel, with a viewing to take place Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. Burial will follow services at the Evanston City Cemetery.
