James Ragsdale, Jr.

James Edward Ragsdale, Jr., 71 years, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the University of Utah.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 10, 1951, to James Edward Ragsdale, Sr and Ecel May Jones Ragsdale. He loved watching his Christmas movies no matter what time of year it was. Going to Bear Lake with his grandkids was something he loved and he also loved to pester them. Going four wheeling with his family and helping at the Barker Ranch before his wife passed away was something else he loved.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean Simmons Ragsdale; his parents; stepson, Dewayne Roundy and grandson, Lukas Simmons.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Bruce Roundy, Destry Simmons and Kay Ellis; sisters, Margaret, Agnes and Ellie; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Friday November 4, 2022, at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. There will be a viewing on Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM and 11:00-12:00 Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Evanston Cemetery.
